The upcoming Cap Roig musical festival, which will be held from 7 July to 22 August, will bring together the most important groups on the national and international music scene. There will be well-known faces like Woody Allen, Anastasia and Norah Jones, as well as Spanish artists like Miguel Bosé and Silvia Pérez Cruz. However the most daring proposal won’t be on stage, but on the table.
Apart from the musical headliners, each concert will have a premium culinary offering. For the first time, Pastry Factory will be at this benchmark summer music event on the Costa Brava. And its desserts will be available at the various concessionary stands around the Festival.
Both in the Plaça del Castell culinary area and the VIP zone, Pastry Factory will be the star on the dessert menu. For this occasion, and specifically to be tasted in the tent area, restaurant Via Veneto, which is collaborating with the Cap Roig Festival for the second year in a row, has chosen two Pastry Factory desserts: a selection of confectionaries, featuring the company’s most original creations, and an always-popular classic: truffles. With top-quality local ingredients as the hero, both options are sure to delight anyone who tries them.
For the second year in a row, Michelin-starred Via Veneto will be the top option for dinner at the Festival. The menu will feature the restaurant’s most emblematic dishes, alongside typical products from the Empordà. The normal format is a pop-up restaurant, which transports part of the establishment’s culinary offering to the Cap Roig botanical garden in Calella de Palafrugell.
